The One-Sentence Challenge

I have the feeling I'm forgetting something. If you know I've seen something but it's not here... let me know.

Last Holiday
It was funnier when Dabney Coleman did it.

Hoodwinked
This one bored parents and kids alike.

Munich
Not a happy film, but a good one none-the-less.
(note - 3/1/06 - see comments for more fun)

Glory Road
I spent 2 hours appreciating the color correction.

Underworld: Evolution
It's even more convoluted than the first one.

Match Point
to: Woody Allen
re: Scarlett Johansson
Thank you... and the movie was pretty good, too.

The Matador
Fun movie with interesting graphic design.

Brokeback Mountain
This is a movie about a prick of a human who just so happens to be gay.

Big Momma's House 2
Another "we can solve white-people's problems by teaching them how to be black" suck-fest.

Annapolis
They lied - it's actually a shitty boxing movie.

Final Destination 3
In terms of the trilogy... it holds up nicely with the squishing, and the BOO!, and the flaven.

Firewall
Save yourself 2 hours and $9, watch the trailer.

Pink Panther
If Steve Martin hadn't written it I'd wonder how they conned him into staring in it.

When A Stranger Calls
Atrocious, even by PG-13 horror standards.

Mrs. Henderson Presents
Singing, dancing, and boobies... Best.Movie.Ever.

Good Night, and Good Luck
Clooney further cementing himself as a formidable filmmaker.

Capote
One of the best damn Biopics I've seen in years.

Date Movie
I walked out on this one after the mother asked for a semen sample as a device to have the male-suitor walk in on the cat having diarrhea in the bathroom.

Running Scared
It's nice to see someone trying to do something visually interesting, it's a shame things get plot-y and tend toward cheese.

Don't listen to her, Mike, comma splices are academic hokum, like string theory and gravity.

And thank you for annulling any urge I had to see Munich, which everyone's being talking a blue streak about, by summing it up so ignaminiously.

PS - Ignaminity is also like string theory.

ZING! (I think?)

I guess I could have said something about how revenge is never what you want it to be and, golly!, the sound design was spectacular...
But that would be an awkward sentence with bad punctuation that implies some level of regard for Oscar-bait.

Which I kind-of waffle about.
